The word hā evokes a connection to breath, vital essence, life force, presence and aliveness.
The word kōwhai means golden, warmth, sunlight, spring and sacred yellow.
Together this phrase feels like the land breathing, geothermal, alive and slightly dangerous. The body of New Zealand with volcanic fire below. This isn’t just a pretty line, it feels elemental.
