From inspiration to concepts, here’s what I’m working on at the moment…. For those of you who don’t know, my work is process based, and what that means is that there isn’t a form in mind when I’m painting. I realised how important this was to me when I was describing it to a friend last week. I find there’s a unique joy in watching the paint move across a surface and through the textures I’ve created, like rivers flowing through valleys or glaciers carving through rock and how everything combines to create something beautiful. It’s my way of processing the uncertainty of life, that you can try your best to control what you think is going to happen but that ultimately you’re kind of an observer and sometimes you can witness beautiful things just playing out and spotting those things is where I see the beauty in the world. @waimanguvolcanicvalley #artistonig #abstractart #artforsale #artforhomes #affordableartfair #sellingart #waimangu

A different year… Rather than a focus on make make make, I took a step back to plan more and create a coherent body of work for my first collection ‘The Seasons of the Forest’ for @svnth_crcl . I was delighted to be selected for exhibitions with @rbsagallery @fronteer_art @colmorebusinessdistrict and @nook_kingsheath I definitely spent a lot of the year covered in gold leaf and glue and a lot of green paint and doing stupid dances 😂 In personal news I got married this year and am super excited to be going on my honeymoon this February! For 2025 🎨I’m working on a green and gold series and developing some new work with purples too. 🎨I’m hoping to have enough work to do a big art fair so watch this space! 🎨Continue to grow my brand and hope that more people have some beautiful work in their homes that makes them smile.
