This piece forms a pair of studio studies within the Hā Pounamu element of the Geothermal Collection.

From Māori, the name of this piece is split into two components. Hā: evokes a connection to breath, vital essence, life force, presence and aliveness. Pounamu: holds the sense of deep green stone, mineral earth and something both ancient and living. Together this phrase feels like the earth exhaling green from its depths.
